Receiving Your Commission Packet

Once you have passed the exam you will receive your commission letter and packet advising you of the next steps to becoming a notary public in the state of Hawaii. These steps include obtaining a notary public bond and registering your bond, seal, and signature with the notary public office and the clerk of the circuit court in which you reside and any additional circuit courts that you wish to perform notary public services in.

You will need to follow the instructions that are included in your packet and be sure that you do not miss anything. Missing a step may cause delays in the processing of your commission.
