Commission Expiration

A notary commission expiration date must be included with all notarizations. This may be preprinted, stamped, or written onto the documents being notarized below the notary’s signature. Recommended wording for a commission expiration stamp or written expiration date are My commission expires:

HINT: When performing a notarization on the exam be sure to write in “My Commission Expires” and a date that is no greater than four years in the future.
