Notary Public Revolving Fund
The Notaries Public Revolving Fund is a fund in the state treasury that is administered by the Attorney General. Monies in this fund are used to cover costs associated with the Attorney General’s office such as training personnel and other activities related to notaries public as the attorney general deems necessary. The money being deposited into this fund can come from various fees, administrative fines, charges, and from other payments received pursuant to section 456-9 HRS, penalties and fines for violations of sections 456-3 and 456-7, appropriations made for deposit and interest earned on money within the fund.
