Qualifications

To be eligible to obtain a notary public commission in the state of Hawaii you must meet the three minimum requirements below:

1. “Be a United States citizen, or a national or permanent resident alien of the U.S. who diligently seeks citizenship upon becoming eligible to apply for U.S. citizenship, and
2. Be a current Hawaii resident, and
3. Be at least 18 years of age.” NPM Pg. 1
