Registering as a Notary

After receiving your commission, you must file photocopy of your commission, an impression of your notary seal, a sample of your official signature, and a copy of your notary bond with the clerk of the circuit court of the circuit in which you reside. You may also file these same documents with the clerk of any other circuit court within the state. These documents will be used by the clerk of the circuit courts or the Office of the Lieutenant Governor to authenticate your notarial acts.
