State Authentication Of Notarial Acts

When requested, a clerk of the circuit court must authenticate the official character and acts of any notary whose commission, seal, and official signature are on file with the clerk’s office. This process is usually done when a notarization done within Hawaii is sent out of the state or to another country. Authentication may also be done by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor.
