Venue

The venue is the place where the notarial act is performed. The venue must be included in all notarizations and is separate from the jurisdiction listed in the notary certificate. The venue The following is an example of the venue for each of the four jurisdictions.

The letters “SS.” are an abbreviation for the Latin word “scilicet”, which means “namely”, or “more particularly described as”.
